On 29^th May, 2023, the Embassy of the Republic of Malawi in collaboration with other African Embassies in the State of Qatar, proudly organized a special event at the Diplomatic Club in Doha to celebrate Africa Day. Africa Day is a significant celebration that honors the establishment of the Organisation of African Unity on May 25, 1963. Every year since then, this milestone is commemorated with great respect and appreciation.

The Malawi Embassy celebrated the rich cultural diversity of African people on this day by showcasing an impressive array of special items from Malawi. Among these were exquisite artwork, unique handicrafts, premium agricultural products, delicious snacks, and high-quality clothing materials. In addition, the Embassy confidently promoted the lucrative investment and business opportunities available in Malawi, which is widely recognized as the Warm Heart of Africa.
